    Work includes converting the existing pedestrian crossing, near North Hill Road, to a toucan crossing; improving or relocating the existing bus stops and shelters and replacing with new bus stops/shelters and upgraded real time technology; new, continuous crossings at all side road junctions; and new, segregated inbound and outbound cycle tracks.

    Work includes a new toucan crossing, on Woodhouse Lane near Cliff Road; bus priority measures on Woodhouse Lane; replacing existing bus stops with new bus shelters and upgraded real time technology; new, shared pedestrian and cycling facility at end of Cliff Road; new, segregated inbound and outbound cycle tracks; Cliff Road becomes one-way southbound to motor vehicles; wider pavements and the full resurfacing of of the road.

    Work includes new, segregated inbound and outbound cycle tracks; the full closure of the A660/St Michael’s Road junction, outside the Skyrack, and the introduction of a public open space with landscaping and planting as well as safe and improved pedestrian, cycling and public transport provision; converting existing pedestrian crossing near the Original Oak Pub to a toucan crossing; new, continuous crossings at all side road junctions; and improving and/or relocating the existing bus stops and shelters including new bus stop bypasses, new bus shelters and improved real time technology.

    Work includes new, segregated inbound and outbound cycle tracks; the full signalisation of and safety improvements at the A660/Rampart Road junction; new, shared pedestrian and cycling facility along Avenue Walk, adjacent to Woodhouse Moor; the introduction of a banned right turn from Rampart Road onto the A660 Woodhouse Lane, enforced by cameras; new trees; and the full resurfacing of of the road.
  • Construction: Phase 9 - A660 Woodhouse Lane from Clarendon Road to St Mark’s Road

    Work includes new, segregated inbound and outbound cycle tracks; St Mark's Road becomes one-way northbound to motor vehicles; the introduction of a 20mph speed limit on the A660 Woodhouse Lane between Clarendon Road and St Mark’s Road, adjacent to Notre Dame College and Leeds University; new, continuous crossings at all side road junctions; improving or relocating the existing bus stops and shelters, including new bus shelters and improved real time technology; and wider pavements.

    Work includes new, segregated inbound and outbound cycle tracks; the major refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing A660/North Lane/Wood Lane traffic signal junction to provide safer and improved pedestrian and cycling provision and local connectivity, as well as addressing the injury collisions at the junctions; the introduction of a 20mph speed limit along the A660 Otley Road between Shaw Lane and Bainbrigge Road and on North Lane; converting existing crossings outside the Arndale Centre and Manahatta to toucan crossings; improving access to public transport outside the Arndale Centre; new, continuous crossings at all side road junctions; and wider pavements.
